Winchmore Hill

Winchmore Hill is situated between Palmers Hill and Southgate and the village atmosphere, with its neat streets, quaint houses, tidy gardens and attractive pubs, that suggests the propesperity of the area.

Older houses cluster picturesquely round the village green (delightful, extremely neat and handy for the station), also a small group of Georgian-style town-houses to the south west corner. Broad Walk is the Beverly Hills of the area with its shops selling Victoriana and its hair and beauty salons. Rock stars and celebrities crop up in these vast modern houses with equally vast cars in their drives.
