Ever since I first came to London Stoke Newington has been my home from home. I first fell in love with its independent spirit and the multiculturality when I was working in a bar on the High Street. I came back again as a student in my second and third year sitting over my books in the coffee shops and bakeries on Church Street and frequenting the pubs and bars afterwards.
And now, years later, I still haven’t had enough. I love Clissold Park in the summer, Abney Cemetery in winter and Church Street on a weekend.

There is so much going on here and this will be the place to find out about it. I will be talking to local businesses, community groups and campaigners and put it all up here.
