Hello.  My name's Katrina and I am thrilled to be the editor for Your Local London Shepherd's Bush.  Having lived here for over 10 years, with 2 children at school locally, I like to think I know my area well; from the neighbours who've been here many years longer than I have, to activities for children and families or local services and shops.  However, Shepherd's Bush does not stand still - it is a vibrant place of constant change and there is always something new to discover, particularly now we have acres of Westfield to explore!

We are part of a great community with, up till now, no impartial forum for sharing information, ideas or concerns.  This is OUR community web site for everyone to use. With everyone's input, it can provide a single place to find out what's going on, what's new, what others recommend. It's really an extension of those chats you have with neighbours, friends, colleagues or other parents combined with a virtual noticeboard if you have something you want to share with others.

Can't be bothered to sell unwanted items on Ebay?  Post them on your local noticeboard and save the postage hassle.

Discovered a hidden gem?  Share your positive experience with your neighbours and give our local services and restaurants the boost they deserve.
