Is anyone else fed up with seeing Royal Mail standard issue red elastic bands all over the pavement? I know they're hot property for small children with scooters, but it seems incredibly wasteful, not to mention illegal for littering the pavement and road! And to cap it all, I then have to find house-room for the bands left holding my letters together (though my son is making a spectactular band-ball). Amazingly, I haven't seen this issue discussed anywhere in the press - has anyone else? Or can anyone think of an alternative solution we could put to Royal Mail?
