Some of you may have noticed that I am also the Editor of East Sheen and Mortlake and have been so for a few months. I have enjoyed it so much, that I have decided to take on Richmond (and Ham and Petersham) as well.

Although I am now an East Sheen resident, I previously lived in Richmond for 5 years and loved it there! I still come to Richmond at least once a week and very much like to keep up to date with what is going on here. I will be out and about picking up leaflets and chatting to people finding out about all the fun and exciting things that are taking place in the area. However, please help me out – if you know of ANYTHING that you think should be on the site – be it news, events, services, etc then please post it up for me. There are plenty of options – the Notice Board (where you can inform people about jobs, events, things to do for kids, etc.); the Chat Room – where you can get chatting about all sorts of local issues, or just chat amongst yourseleves and the Local Groups pages where local groups can sign up to a 3 page mini website including a forum where you can discuss ideas and meeting times and entice in new members. More importantly though, all of this is FREE!

We also have a Local Business section – do check out all the business that are/will be featured here over the next few months and do your best to support the local businesses that bring so much to a community. As you can see, there really is something for everyone on this site and a chance for us all to get more involved in the community to which we belong.
