Nestling between Vauxhall Bridge Road and Buckingham Palace Road, with Victoria Station at the apex and the River Thames flowing lazily along the bottom, Pimlico is a popular and lively wedge-shaped area in central London. It's proximity to the excitement of the West End and main tourist attractions make it a convenient place for visitors to stay and the area is well served by reasonably priced hotels, B&Bs, and great local restaurants. Its riverside is lined with smart flats and white stucco-fronted terraces which are enjoying an ongoing refurbishment. Although most places are easily accessible on foot pimlico has three busses that service the area and is close to national rail and coach stations. Peppered with schools, churches, leisure facilities and businesses, Pimlico is now the clever choice for a really central flat or a family house. This is MP land, full of politicians' peids-a-terres or main homes within the division bell boundary - the zone close enough to the House for them to rush from dinner, or whatever, when there's a vote.
