I am a mother of 2, living in Molesey, just outside Kingston.  I have been living in the area for the past 5 years and have grown very attached to it, knowing much of its ins and outs!

Having 2 little children, I have been encouraged to learn more about local venues, such as playgroups, various classes, leisure centres etc, and then of course have become very familiar with all the local shops too, which is part and parcel of being a full-time Mom.   I usually end up arriving home with a buggy full of leaflets, which I have picked up on local events, even more playgroups, even more car-boots,even more shows and so on...and no doubt most of them will end up crumpled and soggy before 'Mommy' actually gets to see what these 'interesting and colourful pieces of paper' are all about!!!

The great news is that with this site, I can share all the content of these leaflets with everyone else in the area, and SO CAN YOU!!!  So next time you see Aunty Sue across the road, and she tells you that Uncle Ted is having another garage sale, post it on the noticeboard!  Our community chatroom is also a great way of contacting other locals for discussions on all topics which may be of interest, whether it be the latest movie in the cinema, the next garage sale of Uncle Ted's, or even if you just want to air your views on something!  Our site will keep you in touch with everything local from businesses, fun days out with the family, upcoming events and so on... 

I am really excited about being the editor for Your Local London- Kingston and Molesey, and hope to encourage the community spirit even further...
