Weathering the Storms of Life Exhibition: dealing with life's economic uncertainties
Posted on 10/9/09 by Terra in St John's Wood (No comments)
Weathering The Storms of LIfe is an exhibition to help local communities as well as own members to be prepared for as many eventualities as possible.
Particularly relevant in the current financial situation, visitors will gain an appreciation of personal and family financial matters, including the wisdom of avoiding debt, having some money in savings and an understanding of the implications of paying interest.
There will be a advice on the value of full-time education and of continuing, life-long learning to ensure that employment opportunities remain broad.
Also included will be a reminder that natural disasters are not just events that occur in far-flung areas of the world - so it makes good sense to have some food and water always available at home.
The exhibition is open to the public and will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South Kensington, 64-68 Exhibition Road, SW7. You can find the church right across from the Science Museum and next to the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Visit the exhibtion from Wednesday 16th to Saturday19th September 2009.
