Classics Book Club London East

I thought it would be interesting to read books a bit different from what's on the best sellers list - hence the emphasis on classics - we'll read novels over 50 years old.

The idea is to meet on the 1st Sunday morning of every month at 11 for chat about the book and life the universe and everything over a drink +/- food. I have a regular venue in mind - a pub in George Lane, South Woodford, minutes from the underground station, on the Central Line; on bus routes 179, W12, W13, W14 and 2-5 minutes from the north circular/ A12/ M11, with easy parking. Hopefully not too noisy on Sunday mornings.
