A 12-week introduction course to magazine journalism offers an opportunity to contribute to our commercial magazine and the potential of a one-month internship based at one of our industry partners. The course is part time and takes up one day and one evening a week. This opportunity is worth its weight in gold for any young adults (18-30) seeking a bridge into the printed press industry. The programme is primarily targeting young adults who have been excluded from such opportunities due to their social profile and or because they are from a disadvantaged background. The objective is to secure them with paid experience in the media industry and/or a place in higher education.
