Welcome to YourLocal London Chiswick.  In the best tradition of all popular movements, this site is designed by the people for  the people.

I’m Cheryl, YourLocal London editor, and I want to make sure that you feel as happy, “in-touch” and ready to make the most of our area as I am.

This is our community web site on which we all decide what’s hot and what’s not.  It’s our chance to discover new things to do, places to go, and people to see; all in one convenient, readily-accessible, always-available, won’t-lose-the-leaflet, can’t-forget-the-post-it note or remember-that-bakers-name-type way.

I’ve been living in Chiswick for a few years now and the things I jokingly mocked when I arrived now turn out to be its greatest assets – its sense of community, the way people care about how they want Chiswick to feel and the way when you move to Chiswick for the first time you are issued with a huge mortgage and a pushchair for the 2+ children you will inevitably end up having....

I love Chiswick.  I have a great time here and I have a really good group of new friends that I share all sorts of chat with.  My aim is for this web site to become an extension of all those experiences so that every one of us can share the latest and greatest, the old hats and the must not’s.  So, anything goes.  All feedback on days out, experiences, restaurants, services, businesses and events, in fact whatever you can think of going on in Chiswick is welcome, but remember positive thinking conquers all.  Praise the good and constructively criticise the room for improvement.
