Balham is a small village in South London that is becoming more and more popular due to it's great transport links in the form of a railway and tube station and is a short hop over to Clapham. The majority of it's houses are victorian, the most exclusive area being the Nightingale Triangle which is bound by Nightingale Lane, Balham High Road and the railway. A busy high street filled with interesting shops, good bars and restaurants and a market makes this area popular with young singles and couples.
