Notting Hill or Knottynghull has certainly not always been the affluent area it is known as today. Indeed the slums of Notting Hill were only cleared in the 60s and 70s. Notting Hill has so much more to offer than just being a place for the rich to live,the different arrays of colours to the vibrant characters, the buzz of Portobello Road,the many influences from different cultures and ofcourse the carnival.
