The changes affect the period from Monday 22 December 2008 to Saturday 3 January 2009. Posted Fri 31 Oct: Working together for a safer London -In an emergency always call 999 - this is when a crime is happening, someone suspected of a crime is nearby, someone is injured, being threatened or in Danger. Call the Met Police Service on 0300 123 1212 when you need to report a non emergency like your house has been burgled or your car has been stolen.
